Hostel | The Hikers Home is located in Fårösund, 300 meters away from the sund separating the main island of Gotland from the smaller island Fårö, master director Ingmar Bergman's dream island with it's famous Raukar - natural stone sculptures, Viking graves and fine beaches of sand or rock and a nature reservation with a pine forrest.
Even closer - only a short walk away - are the restaurant Utsikten (View) and Gotlands best equipped fitness center (Gotlands IdrottsCenter) with indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and fitness studio.
Training and swimming are included in the rent!

The cozy hikers home offers rooms with two, four or six beds with clean shower and clean toilet in the corridor.
The 4 - and 6-bed rooms have bunk beds, table with chairs and wardrobes. The twin rooms have two ordinary beds, also a table, chairs and wardrobes.

A self-catering kitchen with a spacious dining room and a public lounge for the guests with a modern flat screen TV. Breakfast at Restaurant Utsikten (just 100 meters away) and linen are not included and can be ordered separately.
Some of the rooms have sea view. In two rooms pets are allowed!
Free internet (wireless WLAN WiFi) in the entire hikers home!

The hikers home does have just 300 meters distance to the reception and Gotland best equipped fitness center with swimming pool, sports hall, Gym, tennis court, beach volleyball court, beach soccer field and treadmill offers. All this free of charge for the guests of the Idrottscenters Hikers Home!
The check-in takes place at the reception desk of the Sports Center Idrottscenter.
The swimming pool is of furst of Junr to July 1th closed due to annual renovation and to cleaning.

In the vicinity you will find both an ICA supermarket as well as a gas station. The free ferry to Fårö is 1 km away. The heavenly Blue Lagoon, perfect for swimming in clear water and bathing in magic golden sunlight, is about 10 km away.
On almost all your ways on our islands you'll encounter picturesque churches from the Middle Ages, meet romantic windmills, mysterious ruins, grazing sheep and horses. Maybe you know "Pippi Longstocking" from TV? - Her adventures, created in Astrid Lindgren's famous children's books and loved by millions of children - have been filmed on Gotland!
