Welcome to Strandlogiet Ljugarn, the historic granary from 1891 that has been a popular summer oasis for over 30 years. From 2026, the accommodation will be run by Elin Bergner and Jakob Tholsby – the duo behind Strandvillan and Strandcafét – and Frejs Magasin will now become a natural part of the "Strand family" under its new name: Strandlogiet.
 
With its location just a few steps from Ljugarn's shallow beach, Strandlogiet is a place where history meets modern comfort. Here you live in a warm, personal environment close to the sea, nature and Ljugarn's cozy summer feeling.
 
During the winter, parts of the building will be renovated and just in time for the summer of 2026, our deluxe rooms (rooms 1–6) will be ready to welcome their first guests. You can already book next summer's stay.
The rooms include sheets, towels, breakfast and final cleaning. As a guest, you also have access to two shared, well-equipped kitchens, laundry room and several nice patios – both on the porches and in the green garden. For those who want larger areas, we also offer four smaller apartments. Breakfast is not included as standard, but it can easily be added.
 
Strandlogiet is a place for peace, presence and Gotland summer feeling – perfect for couples, families and friends who want to stay close to the beach and at the same time have Ljugarn's range within reach.
