Medieval Week Camping

Camping | Stay and live in a medieval idyll or modern campsite in scenic areas with the entire Medieval Week within walking distance. Medieval ribbon for the whole week is included! New for this year is that the medieval camp will be in Östergravar. The Medieval Week's camping for modern tents will remain at Galgberget, where it is now also possible to book a place for caravans or motorhomes with or without electricity (note limited number of places).

You pay a fixed price per person, which makes it just as easy to stay alone in a one-person tent or as in a group in, for example, a military tent or medieval pavilion. If you want to bring a caravan or a motorhome, there is a fee for the caravan/motorhome.

The camping price is the same whether you sleep modern or medieval, one or nine nights. The price is per person, not per tent, and the price includes a Medieval Ribbon. As a camping guest, you have access to the Medieval Week's different areas around the city during all eight days on Gotland (4-11 August 2024).

Caravans and motorhomes
For caravans and motorhomes, you need to book a pitch in advance – so you need a Camping Ticket per person and an Additional Ticket for the caravan/motorhome. There is an additional ticket without electricity and another including electricity.
