Camping Gangvidefarm in När

Camping | Pitch your tent or park your caravan or motorhome with us at Gangvidefarm and experience life in the middle of the farm's animals. Here you can fish, canoe in the Närsån, or play with the small animals. You can also ride a pony, rent electric cake mopeds or buy a picnic basket for your excursion. For the adventurous, it is possible to rent a boat in Närsån or rent a tractor and trailer for a trip to Närsholmen.

There is something for everyone, both young and old!

When you are camping or staying in a cottage at Gangvidefarm, you are also welcome to participate in the farm's activities, such as feeding the small animals, petting the horses or exploring our car workshop. There is nostalgia in the form of vinyl records and collections of all kinds, and it is easy to find something to be fascinated by.

Within 2 km you will find a variety of sights and activities: sandy beach, 18-hole golf course, bicycle rental, chocolate factory, a well-stocked ICA store, the playground "NärsakarScen", the hiking trail "Linnéstigen" and a sports field with a tennis court. For bird enthusiasts, there are some of the most interesting bird protection areas for wading birds in northern Europe, with two bird towers and several viewpoints within 2-3 km.

In our service building you will find tourist information for the whole of Gotland, where we are happy to give you tips on favourite places that many others pass by. There are also toilets, showers, kitchen, barbecue area and outdoor furniture for our guests. Start the day with a hot cup of coffee or enjoy our breakfast buffet at the quayside – a perfect start to a day full of excursions and activities.
Gangvidefarm is located in southeastern Gotland, about 50 minutes from Visby and 20 minutes from Hemse.
