At Strandakar we do everything to ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. We give our guests peace of mind to explore Gotland, discover nature and enjoy the peacefulness and harmony with us. Our hotel rooms are designed to serve as an escape from the stress of our daily lives and to give you a holistic experience in rural luxury.
Strandakar offers two restaurants and twelve large, luxurious rooms, each with its own patio. The rooms are modernly furnished with generous bathrooms. The entire facility has free wireless internet, enjoy your food in Bistro S with its beautiful courtyard or delicious dishes in Restaurant Strandakar. We always offer our hotel guests dinner even when the restaurants are closed. We serve a delicious breakfast buffet at 8:30 - 10:00 every day.
Our head chef Andreas prides himself on using local products. We work with several local entrepreneurs to ensure that you get locally grown ingredients of the highest class. In our garden, we grow our own herbs and we are self-sufficient in our own honey.
In our large garden you will find graves from the Bronze/Iron Age, as well as many orchids and beautiful birds.
Strandakar Hotel & Restaurant is a newly built hotel with a very high class. We maintain environmentally friendly standards even if we have chosen not to certify. We opened in 2018 and you will find us on the east coast of Gotland.
