STF Lärbro/Grannen Hostel

Hostel | Lärbro is a perfect base for your holiday. With a central location on northern Gotland, you are close to Fårö, Visby's cobbled alleys and nice beaches. Sleep well in nice double or family rooms, work out for free in our large gym, rent longboards and paddle a sea kayak.

The hostel is located in a beautiful forest area just north of Lärbro on northern Gotland. Here you stay in newly renovated double rooms and family rooms in three wings of houses. You have access to a guest kitchen, shower, toilet and TV in all houses. Choose for yourself if you want to bring your own sheets, clean and cook the food yourself. Or order the full service and all you have to do is pack your bag. You arrive at a made bed and let us take care of the cooking and cleaning. All rooms have free Wi-Fi.
 
Our restaurant Astuen is open every day during the high season and open on weekends during the low season. Here you can enjoy our pizzas or have a good dinner from our à la carte menu in an inviting atmosphere. In the summer, we also serve breakfast. All rights reserved.
 
The hostel has one of Gotland's largest gyms: Heilden. Here you can go to the gym on your own or with the help of our professional instructors. The gym is about 1300 m2 with about fifty stations and a substantial outdoor gym. As a hostel guest, you can work out for free. There is also a sauna, massage, boxing, naprapath, hairdresser and sport fishing shop.
 
Around the hostel there are large green areas with volleyball court, hammocks, football field, toys and barbecues. We rent out bikes, longboards and kayaks. Also take the opportunity to visit the museum at our hostel. Here you will find one of Gotland's five military history museums - Lärbro War Hospital Museum, which is very well visited with its history from the Second World War.
 
Large parts of the hostel have been renovated and all furniture replaced in 2012-2015. Sorry, pets aren't allowed.
 
Nocturnal arrivals are no worries, just email or call us in advance. The reception is located adjacent to the gym.
 
In the village of Lärbro there are two restaurants, a grocery store, a petrol station and the fine market garden Röcklinger, which is worth a visit.
 
See and do
Visit Fårö (15 km), Slite (8 km), Lummelunda caves (30 km) and Visby (35 km). Swim in the popular limestone quarry "Blå Lagunen" in Ar (23 km). By car you can reach at least three nice beaches in less than 12 minutes.
 
The Gotland Ring motorway is a stone's throw away. Kayaking in the Slite archipelago (4 km). Buy lambskin and leather products from organically raised lambs at Pavalds Gård in Lärbro.
