STF Ardrebo Bed and Breakfast
Hotelli | Ardrebo B&B is located in a charming old country store in Ardre on eastern Gotland. Stay near vast beaches, flat rock land and extensive bird life. Sleep comfortably in individually decorated rooms and wake up to the scent of homemade pastries from our café.
Ardrebo Bed and Breakfast is located on the east coast of Gotland, just a few kilometers from the ocean and Ljugarn. By car, we are just over 30 minutes by car, and only five minutes from Ljugarn (or 15 minutes by bicycle). It takes about an hour to drive to Hoburgsgubben to the south and the Fårö ferry to the north, making Ardrebo an excellent base for discovering all Gotland has to offer.
The surrounding area is perfect for such activities as fishing, swimming, biking and hiking, or simply lazy days in the garden or by the ocean. The seaside resort of Ljugarn is just a few kilometers away and offers long beaches and a great selection of restaurants. It is easy to get there by taking our bicycles on the delightful gravel roads (basic bikes are available to borrow; for longer excursion you may rent a bike).
We have carefully renovated the old country store to its modern state over the years, with great respect for its history. There are currently ten individually decorated rooms with vibrant wallpapers in different colors, giving the rooms their names. Each room has its own bathroom, and many of our rooms have a private entrance from the outside and a private patio. Pets are welcome in some of our rooms.
In addition to our B&B, our café welcomes both guests and other visitors to sit down and enjoy our homemade food. Everything is baked and cooked on site, using local and organic ingredients where possible. The café is normally open on weekends from January to September and daily from mid-summer to the end of August. As a guest at our B&B, you are welcome to enjoy your breakfast in the café, featuring many types of homemade bread, your own muesli and homemade marmalade. Notify us of any allergies, and we will offer alternatives.
We spend a lot of time in nature ourselves and will happily share our personal favorite sites in the surrounding area and on Gotland in general. The varied beach landscape nearby is strikingly beautiful at any time of the year, but the flat rock land and pine forests also offer much to see. In spring, the main blooming site of the endangered Gotland wildflower is within walking distance. In early summer, there are ample orchid meadows, and August and September offer breathtaking starry skies, thanks to the low light pollution.
