Mickels Turistgård

Holiday apartments | Near some of Gotland's beautiful sandy beaches, just outside the small village När you find us. Mickels is a charming, comfortably furnished farmhouse to stay in during the holidays, 57 km from Visby.

Enjoy your holiday in a peaceful and rural setting, amongst beautiful natural areas perfect for cycling and picnics, yet only a quick drive from Visby. Mickels is situated in a rural area with farms where there are cows, lambs and horses. This means that sometimes it can also "smell and sound like in the countryside".
All accommodations are fully equipped for self-catering. Blankets and pillows are provided, but you bring your own bed linen and towels. All accommodations have TVs with terrestrial channels, microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer or freezer compartment, electric cooker with oven, kitchenware, outdoor furniture and barbecue.
The nearest food market is in the village “När” (1.5 km) where there is a small ICA store. In Stånga there is a larger store and in Hemse a large ICA supermarket and all other services you need.
Herta beach (approx. 7 km) is a beautiful, long sandy beach in bicycle distance from the farm. Also Närs beach (about 3 km) has a long sandy beach overlooking the Närsholmen nature reserve (5.0 km). To Ljugarn with the beautiful beach they are about 17 km.
We have some bikes, which can be borrowed free of charge. There are nice bike paths in the area. A walk or bike ride to Närsholmen's magnificent nature is almost a must. Kulturstig Linne's footsteps starts at När's church, about 1 km from Mickels.
