Fantastic food in charming atmosphere
Enjoy delicious meals in a maritime environment. You can choose between popular meals at restaurant "Kajkanten" or luxurious feasting at the "Sjökrogen".
Sjökrogen in Valleviken is a “classic” within the culinary circles in Sweden and mandatory for Gotlands gourmets. Either you sit in the cosy atmosphere of Sjökrogen’s cellar or you listen to the susurration off the waves, watching the smooth rocking of the boats directly on the “edge” in restaurant Kajkanten. The classic speciality at restaurant Sjökrogen: Agnes’ famous “fish and shellfish pan”, an excellent glass of wine and as background the sound of happy splashing from children’s beach. For many tourists is Sjökrogen a “must” and gourmets coming back year after year
