Hotel Strandporten

Hotelli | Hotel Strandporten, a most unique hotel, centrally situated in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Visby, some rooms with wonderful view over the Baltic Sea and the beautiful historic city park Almedalen. Here you find a rich choice of entertainment, restaurants and cultural sites within a short walking distance.

All of the rooms have been tastefully designed and hopefully embraces all of our guest´s expectations. Our rooms have high quality beds, central air conditioning, exclusive bathroom designs and all the rooms are equipped with iron and ironing board and hairdryer.

All the rooms have wireless internet connection, a writing desk and cable TV. The safety box offers space for your laptop.

Breakfast is included in the room price. The buffet offers fresh bread, hard bread, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, salami, cucumber, tomatoes, fruit, youhurt, cereals, müsli, juices, coffee and tea. Variations depending on the season. Breakfast is served 7 to 10 am Mon-Fri and 7.30-11 am Sat to Sun, so you can enjoy a slow morning in the weekend. If you depart early by ferry, tell us and we will give you a breakfast coupon for the ferry.

Check-in from 3 pm. Check-out from 11 am. The reception is open from 7 am to 10 pm May 1 to Sep 30. Our hosts are on site 7 am to 6 pm daily rest of the year. If arriving later, please call us a few days before arrival for check-in code.

Smoking is not allowed in the hotel. Pets are not allowed. Hotel Strandporten was formerly named Hotel1.
