At Strandakar Hotel & Restaurant we do everything to ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. We give our guests peace of mind to explore Gotland, reconnect with nature and embrace tranquility. Each one of our rooms is entirely designed to serve as an escape from the stress of our daily lives and to give you an overall experience in rural luxury.

Strandakar offers two restaurants and twelve large, luxurious rooms, all with their own patio. The rooms are modernly furnished with generous private bathrooms. The entire facility has free wireless internet access.

Enjoy our diverse choices of dishes in the Bistro with its beautiful courtyard or in our fine dining Restaurant Strandakar. We always offer dinner to our hotel guests even when the restaurants are closed. We serve a delicious breakfast buffet at 8:30 - 10:00 every day.

Our head chef Andreas is proud to use local products. We collaborate with several local entrepreneurs in order to get local produce of the highest grade. In our garden we grow our own herbs and we are self-sufficient with our own honey.

We are close to Herta/Hörte beach where you can enjoy the warmth of the waters and the sun on a sandy shore. Strandakar is also surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and historical monuments that are waiting to be checked out.
