Welcome to The Medieval Week's Campground. With the city close by but in a secluded environment, sea views and a lively camp site are all part of what will make for a really pleasant stay and a great opportunity to meet new and old friends.
You can find the campground situated in the north of Visby on Galgberget. The campground is located near the city center and has areas for both modern and medieval tents. Here are the services you need and you live together with other visitors to the festival and this will be the perfect starting point to get to know both the festival and new friends.
You pay a fixed price per person and you are welcome to stay the entire booking period or you can choose the desired number of nights to stay during the booking period. You can check in and out at any time during the day because the camp is staffed 24 h per day.
It is just as convenient for single person tents or groups in military tents or medieval pavilions. If you do not stay the entire period, we recommend you to see the section Travel and stay on our website.
Access from Friday, August 5th 12 pm and departure no later than Monday, August 15th 4 pm.

”Det havde været rigtig godt (bra) om der var en form for transport med bus eller andet ikke til Visby:-) jeg tænker på en vogn som den der kører rundt inde i Visby med de guidede ture:-) Måske var det bare os der ikke rigtigt fandt ud af det med busserne. ”Tack för en trevlig vecka! Det var blåsigt (men det var ju inget ni kan påverka). Man kunde checka in dygnet runt (vilket får räknas som god service) men en konsekvens av det blev att man kunde vakna mitt i natten av att någon slog ner tältpinnar (vilket inte var så trevligt). Men jag gillade stämningen på campingen...”
