Hotel | Best Western Strand Hotel is a first-class hotel with an environmental profile and personal service. It is located in the heart of the World Heritage City of Visby, just inside the medieval city wall and a stone’s throw from the sea.

The Visby Strand Hotel grew out of the old Visby Brewery, run by the same family for three generations. In 1982 the family converted the brewery facilities into a small family hotel with 13 rooms. The modern hotel, still run by the same family, now boasts 110 rooms and suites, but the familial atmosphere has been carefully preserved.

The Best Western Strand Hotel occupies several beautiful medieval buildings over several streets, and the designers have made excellent use of every niche in the historical structures. No two rooms are alike – each has its own special flair to charm our guests and put them at ease.

The Best Western Strand Hotel has eight meeting facilities for up to 120 people, a restaurant for conferences and groups, free Wi-Fi and free access to the spa. The reception is manned round the clock and there are parking spaces just outside the hotel available for a surcharge of 80 SEK per day. . A big breakfast buffet is included in all room prices.
